What does a stock SHO motor run under WOT as far as A/F?

My friend is telling me 10's, I'm thinking 12's..

Any help?

Every car will be diff depending on how its working and the condition of its components. I think in stock the computer calls for 12.5:1 up to around 6k then falls to 11.5:1 up to 7k. I could look it up but my cal edit is on the other computer.

Uh, pull up your X2J file on your lap top.
Then look at the "stable OL fuel map.

Im getting 13:1 @ WOT with my PLX wideband , BUT I donno if my 3.2 injectors are maxed out yet. This is with a B9B1 ECU.

I believe he is talking about a stock sho that has not been tuned, as in what they run if you were to put a wideband on a bone stock sho. I think what Brian said would probably be a good indicator, or a few data log runs on a few different bone stock shos.

Here is the stock AF settings for the D4U1 PCM. Multiply the number in the table times 14.6396484375 to get the actual targeted ratio. There may be other parameters that will be applied to this number to get the actual commanded AF ratio.

EDIT: Fixed the XY labels.

looks like the Load and RPM labels are backwards... at least I hope they are because it makes no sense otherwise! lol... so at 100% load and 7K rpm the ECU is commanding a 9.82 AFR? That's more than pig rich... that's like Bernie Madoff six months ago rich.

The labels are backwards. More than likely on a stock motor you will never be in the top row either.

that's just whats commanded, they don't actually run that, my atx runs in the high 10's low 11's at wot around 6-7k rpm, as well as all other stock sho's IIRC.

oh and that's also why even a bone stock sho can benefit from a better tune.

Its also "wash the oil off the cylinder walls" rich, imho.

so would the engine benefit from running something closer to 12-13s, vice 10-11s? And would it really be just as simple as changing the upper numbers to .800 or .850 instead of .68 and .7?

EDIT: Obviously, that table isn't from the tweecer, as the tweecer doesn't contain that table for the D4U1. The only closely related fuel tables are fuel-base and fuel-stabilized. Which one would I dick with to change the OL behaviour?

yes it would benefit form it for sure, as well as advancing timing a bit and runnign premium but I am not sure how to do it yet. I have yet to go that deep into the tweecer, I have only been messing with rev limiters and atx trans stuff recently. I do plan on tuning the fuel tables and such within the next couple weeks though when I get my new intake manifold on.

Go to the scalars section and look at the Spark - Global Adder, and add 4 or 5 degrees. This will advance the spark across the board. I'm running 4 and there is much better tip-in response.
