Ok, so although there's a long, long history, as well as multiple rather entertaining stories on how this achievement finally came about, I've been told on more than one occasion, that I'm too "long winded".

Therefore, in a refreshing change of pace, I'll just keep this really sweet, short, and simple, by posting the following:

Record Setting Time Slip zps1suhf497

Now, in closing, I'm not naïve enough to believe I'll hang onto to this title for very long, but I'll relish in the 15min of lime light while I can.

Likewise, and although the "thank you" list is ever expanding, and (trying) to stick to my short posting.....

I'd be remiss if I didn't thank the following for their involvement and inspiration respectively:

Mr. Dan Millen, owner of Livernois Motorsports & his entire staff, info found at:
www.livernoismotrosports.com or by phone at: (313) 561-5500

Mr. Matthew Hencinski, owner of Finishline Cars, & his entire staff, info found at:
www.finishlinecars.com or by phone at: (815) 556-1006

Mr. Jeff Liu, owner of HK Media Chicago, & his revolving partners, info found at:
www.hkmediachicago.com or by phone at: (630) 280-1670

All of my fellow SHO owners, of all Generations, including Zach Wright for keeping my developing old ass motivated in the true spirit of competition likewise.

Thank you and enjoy!

SHOs are getting faster everyday.
Great time

I won't get anywhere close to this time but will still have a great time beating cars that are confident they got it when they line up next to a Taurus at the track tomorrow.

Third times a charm!:burnout:

Damn man now I feel bad! I sat on the couch after a long day and was looking forward to a great read....;)
Kidding aside way to be persistent and doing everything you could to achieve your goal (for the time being). Anyone who's pushed to hit a number truly understands the level of deduction and attention to detail it takes. You my friend have done an outstanding job!!!! Congratulations to you and all the people behind you driving you to make this happen!!!

Great job. Now that you're rested up, sit down and tell the masses the rest of the struggles that make this accomplish that much more impressive!

Mike "long winded", I never said that, love you. What's amazing that this is the 525 tune file not the 617 tune file. That is Mike's next goal to run that file down the track, but rebuilt trans is needed first. So that is goal. I raise my glass to you. YOU DID IT BUDDY! Enjoy the moment.

I replied where you originally posted this question at.

Good luck in your run today!

All others, continued thanks for the thank you's & support, etc.

Perhaps when time permits, I'll create that "long winded" post..... haha it's all good.

I hear from many people, so none of you need to feel bad for saying so yourselves. No worries my friends.
