This weekend I was taking out my valve covers of my 93 atx to change the gaskets. But in the heat of the moment I took off the wiresets without numbering them so I can remember to were I can put them back. I have th Chiltons book for the Taurus 89-95 book, but its no help. It gives me a picture of the spark numbering and the ignition coil numbers, however they don't match my numbers order. My ignition coil reads as follow from top left to bottom left 5-6-4 and from top right to bottom right 1-2-3. Where do the wireset connect on the engine. Please help sho fool!!!

I belive the wiring order is

Block:
123
654

Ignition pack:
4 1
6 2
5 3

Wait on someone to verify though..

and FYI I believe the Chilton's is wrong, someone else should know.

NO, he is NOT correct!

The wiring arrangement in the Chilton's manual is wrong, but so is the sequence shown above. The correct order is shown below.

Engine
Firewall
1-2-3
-----
4-5-6
Radiator

Coil Pack
Firewall
5 | 1
6 | 2
4 | 3
Radiator
