Wipers are bass-ackwards

Well I thought I was the man and replaced the multi-function switch in the Mom's SHO. What did it fix? NADA!! WTF!? Thought maybe just a bad part from Ford. Tried another one and nothing. The problem is that when the wipers are tuned to HIGH they go slower than when they are on LOW. Also when on HIGH the speed is inconsistent.

A search revealed governor and a possible motor issue... What do I do now? I have a parts car so I don't mind swapping parts... :cool:

well.... did you take apart the end of the switch where the wiper part is... the rotating part? If you did.... there maybe problems then... i took mine apart lots of small tiny parts and spings... be VERY CAREFUL when taking it apart of you have to... go slow too.

No, I didn't take that part apart. You're on the electical section like stink on shizzle today!
