bought the show and it came wrapped with Bridgestone sport comp-2, which are summers. Live in CHI, and need A/S or winter. Recommendations?

I can't recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWS enough - just drove this morning in icy and nasty snow conditions with my SHO, and the car barely complained. LOVE these tires.

having a PP really limits tire choices...how can i confirm other that calling the dealer (which i did and i do) that I do in fact have PP?

Forums are always so helpful and typically so are the people. Thanks for the link...answered my question that no one else could.

And thanks for the opinions!

Having the PP shouldn't limit the tire options, you just need to go off of the tire size. It was possible to get the 20" wheels on the non-PP SHO as well.

Anyway, 2 weeks ago I put on a set of General G-Max tires on my PP SHO in the stock size. The F1 Supercar tires sucked and I didn't want to go with a summer only tire again since I would like to drive it more than I have been. We got hit with about 7 inches of snow yesterday and I took the car out before the plows went through my neighborhood and was very pleased with how well the car gets around. I have more confidence with the SHO and the G-Max tires than I do with my Escalade, both in turning and stopping.

I've had dedicated snow tires on a couple of cars in the past and if you want a second set of wheels and tires, then their performance in the winter is amazing, but for an all-season tire, I've very happy with the G-Max, and the price was right as well.

In the past I've Had great experience with the Blizzaks so I went with them. Still suffering sticker shock for the 245 45 20 size.

This is the second winter with the Continentals - last year, here in Michigan, we had record snowfall and they performed brilliantly.

I too have Blizzaks on my '14 PP. Sticker shock aside, they are amazing on wet, snowy, or icy roads. Worth every penny really.

I'm currently running a tire rack winter tire package, 235/55 18 on moda rims. Definitely can tell a handling difference but the improvement in winter handling is amazing. I thought about sticking with the stock tire size but decided even with dedicated snows the tire width/sidewall height was a disadvantage (taller thinner for snow and mud is better. Keeps tire from "plowing" as much) plus for the cost of 245/45 20 tires I purchased the tires, rims, tpms sensors and had them mounted and balanced and shipped. 1200 bucks from TR.

I pulled the trigger on Michelin MXV4s, all seasons. Got them at Costco and so far they have been great. Now anyone want to buy my BFgoodrich sport comp 2? have like 3500-4k miles on them, rotated twice already.

I live in Omaha, NE with plenty of ice and snow - I got tires made by Continental, General G-Max and love them!! They also have a very cool, aggressive-looking tire pattern. I used these on my Audi S4 and my current SHO.
