I forgot to say that'd I'd be there, and I'll have a few people with me. With my superduper 95 ATX suspention, I have a feeling I'll be towards the back, with little hope of keeping up.

UPDATE...

Just got a call from the comissioner of the Mountain West conference. I have a game on Saturday afternoon at Boise St. Looks like the basketball gods outranked the sho gods on this one.... bs

Well that will give me more time to really do up the 93 the way I want it anyways. I will be setting up the spring run for late April/early May hopefully!

It looks like I'm going to be hitting the storm as I travel north. Supposedly, it's moving south from where you all are and will be gone from that area before mid-morning. I'll probably leave an hour early just so I can be sure to make it through the storm, I wish I knew just how bad it's going to be.

Don't know about the local weather persons in San Antonio but the DFW weather guys all love snow and rain, so when ever there is the slightest chance of either they predict it. Todays local forcast was overcast with a chance of snow later in the day with a high of 43. Well it's been sunny all day and as of about 3:00pm there hasn't been a cloud anywhere in the sky and the high will be more like 49 or even over 50 in some parts of the metroplex. I want a job like that, where you are wrong all the time and get over a $100k a year.

No rain here either, but cloudy and COLD, like the high has been 40 cold....

They say that early morning drizzle, poss freezing sleet/ poss snow is expected for the hill country, but clearing early afternoon. I should miss it by the time I get there but the car will likely be covered in dirty crap from the roads. So again, what's the best way to get there fast?

Guys I hate to do this, especially at the last moment, but I'm not going to be able to make it tomorrow.

With the icy roads, length of time and lack of proper planning (on my part) I've decided that it would be best for me to bow out of this one.

I just don't feel comfortable driving for such a long time especially when there will be some great need to for concentration during the run. I will try to call Murph in the morning 'round 10am to let you all know in case this doesn't reach anyone.

Have a great time, be safe and take plenty of pictures. Next run I'll be sure to get my ducks in a row before hand.

Sorry to here that Damen next year we can do it in Jan. when the weather is milder. If it weren't for all the bikers out there last weekend I would have planned it for then. Next year we will have to take a vote to what is more important NFL football playoffs or the winter run, Super Bowl weekend would have been a good weekend for the run. frown
