Did you get the email I sent you?

Well it looks like we will split into two groups a little out of Ranger one group going one way while the outer group the other way and see how far we get before we pass each outer, then meet up for the drag racing then head over to the restaurant.

I found a new hotel/motel in Arlington that charges $45. a night. You guys don't have any trustworthy relatives to watch the puppies?

Toolman is coming down from OK and 3, maybe 4 are coming from Houston, to bad maybe you could have hooked up with the Houston club in Temple Friday night and caravan up.

Guess we will have to see you at the spring run. So have you heard anything from the SVT club about the car show? If you haven't, let me know and I'll go over there and light a fire under them.

Sorry, Don... My email was apparently screwed up.

I got it to work by some act of God the other day and saw 145 e mails pop up. I never did see yours.

Unfortunately, I have no relatives here. I have friends, but most of them live on the other side of town and I'd hate to bother them like that. I wouldn't mind coming up the night before and the cost isn't the issue, it's just the dogs.

I can put them in a kennel but my wife hates that idea ( she's pretty sensitive about her dog and plaes like that, goes back to a bad experience. ).

I think I'll end up leaving her here and will drive up the day of. If I leave around 5 or 6 am I should be able to meet you all in time.

Anyway, please try to resend the map.

try this addy: [email protected]

Thanks, Don and all who have helped. thumbs_u

Just another tought, could one of you send me the hotel name and number? Maybe I'll contact them and see if they accept dogs. If they do, we can all come up Friday night and the doggies won't be alone that long.

That might be the way to go right there. I'll probably need the room two days though, check out is usually around 3pm and I don't think we'll be back by then. I'll also be able to see if my SVTOA and Team Ford Racing mamberships with hotel discounts work or not.

Damen,

Found one Days Inn $46. per night for a single double bed.$51. per night for double double beds plus $7. pet fee. 1-817-557-5828. That's in Arlington, Tx. Just past Hillsbro you will take 35W to Ft. Worth to 20 east toward Dallas to Arlington, exit Bowen Rd., left under the freeway go just past the movie theathre, turn right at the traffic light you will see it to your left.

Watch out for the DPS on the interstate.

So are we going to see a Dale Earnhardt nascar commerical on the run 130mph with the doggs heads out the windows?

What about Kaotic (Jason), has anyone told him about the run?
Toolman, got your message. Hope you get to feeling better. Glad to hear you got the beast, sorry that I wasn't any help. Now, if I could just get my car back I could help out with some cool brakes. Been so busy running to the coast every couple of days to help Mother care for my Father who has Alzheimer's. It takes a lot out of me physically and emotionally and I am young! ack!

Anyway, I had hoped to make this trek, however I don't have the car and extremely busy with the family business and personal.

I hope you all have a safe and trouble-free run. Maybe Sergio will take some good footage of you maniacs!

You know I am gonna have my green one out there. I am spending too much $$ right now doing my next conversion though so I do not have anything done suspension wise yet. But the 3.2 runs so damn strong. Craig

Great news!

I got someone to watch the puppies.

I'll be driving up in the early morning, I suppose I'll still be meeting everyone at that gas station in Ranger???

All right, you won't regret it. Going to be a blast. Waxed the SHO tonight (for what it's worth), and it does not look too bad. Can't wait to see some of you guys again. If these roads are half as good as the Fall Run, should be a blast.

Sorry to hear about your family's health problems Jason. That must be quite a load to bear. Our prayers are with you. Hope to be able to see you in the near future. I will be bringing my video cam, and send you some footage if you like. BTW, I am feeling much better. 24hr flu I guess, thanks.

If I took on the slowest SHO there I might have a chance.

But I'm hoping to put the SVTF through it's paces in the twisties. From what I've seen of this car so far, I'll be able to run right up there with ya, at least until my wife screams bloody ******.

Less than a week away!! Gotta get some things in order on the new car, but she should be running at full steam by this weekend. The weather forecast for all next week stinks here (30's and possible precip). Has anyone seen a forecast for N TX for next weekend (not like the forecasters are half right half the time).

The Intellicast forecast for Ranger, Texas next Saturday is 40 degrees and partly cloudy. It is showing snow and a high of 36 on Friday. That's going to be quite a change from today's 80+ degrees.

Snow??!!!

Man, it won't be that much of a run if we're all creeping along at 40 mph.

I'm growing a little weary of all this crappy weather BTW. I miss the weeks of nothing but sunshine that Phoenix offered.

According to Accuweather.com the weather in Graham, thats on the north side of the lake, the forcast is cold with intervals of clouds and sunshine. High for the day should be 46, but todays forcast for Dallas was supposed to be in the mid sixtys and I know here in Arlington it got to be over 70 and it felt more like 80. The grocery store down the street was full of people wearing t-shirts and shorts it was warm out there. I don't want to hear any pessimists out there it's going to be a great run Saturday.

I don't mind the cold, it's the wet stuff or the white stuff that needs to be elsewhere that day.

The National Weather Service is showing a little more optimism for the forecast for our Run on Saturday with a high of 52F and partly cloudy skies. They are, however, showing a chance of rain on Thursday and Friday. Car wash on Friday anyone?
