They do make then in 5 speed, but volvo didnt ship any to the states. You can get a v70 t5 in a 5 speed though, but then your back to being fwd, and i havent found one yet. I would prefer the awd anyways.

Having never driven one, and never driving a turbo car either, i was very impressed with the one i test drove. Even though there was all that stuff wrong with it.

I went with joe...yea that car at the dealer they wanted 5555, im serious on the price, wouldn't mind paying that if as joe said everything was there, the upper strut plate/mount was bad, and the rear diff didn't make noise.

Truly a car worth a test drive if you get a chance. Just riding in it, it felt VERY solid and didn't seem to have any engine/turbo issues. But again, 5555 the guy was willing to go down to 5k, even then it wasn't worth it...BTW Joe talked to parts guy at Tousley and he said that John Catchlin the used car manager at apple valley was actually fired from Tousley for poor customer service. I CAN SEE WHY!!!

Oh yeah btw I was asking him about everything needed to do a 60k and he said he would work up a quote for me.

So still looking 530-6pm for the meet? Joe did you figure out if they'll late Amy work for you that night? I will be at work until 430 if you would want to pick me up at the truck stop.

Good night all I had 3 hrs of restful sleep last night so I should probably turn in.

Maybe I'll spy with my little eye a Ford that starts with a "B" that has not been on the road for some time! I was wondering about the trannys. I havent heard anything about them either way though. The car is at a shop in blooming ton called Swedish motors, or something along those lines. I test drove one at apple valley ford the other day and it was a great ride, however, it only has 139k, but it had a broken strut mount, a failing rear diff, front end damage, some interior pieces missing, and the seats and what not were a bit shabby. Their best price was 5k, with no service history.

My aunt and uncle are big volvo nuts for some strange reason, they have had at least 4 of them the two newer ones where both turboed and both had tranny problems. they bought them used so its had to say how the prevoius owners took care of them but that makes it hard to get excited. However the gen2 atx could probably be classified the same way...???:nut:

the skinny 1 that needs the haircut is the 1 that I would worry about.

Problem fixed, turns out it was the waste gate.:nut: were back to full tranny destroying power!
