slow down in the rain :p

But really, this is normal for the Taurus. Our wipers like to lift at speeds higher than 75 mph

On a side note my driver side wiper slaps the left side of the windshield in the full vertical position WHENEVER my wipers are on, like it's travelling too far? Do I have to remove that wiper arm and set it one tooth to the right to prevent it from slapping to side of the windshield?

I think this was a generic installation problem with the Taurus' wiper blades. You can take a close look at the stalk mounting on the wiper hub and find the tab that protrudes from one side. Pull (IIRC) this tab outward and the entire blade assembly can be lifted off the splined hub. Reinstall it with the blade closer to the hood (farther up the park ramp) to limit the travel at the top of the blade arc. This change will position the blade farther in the counter-clockwise direction on the hub. Make sure that you don't reposition the blade so far that it is forced into the stop at the top of the ramp when it is parked.

These stupid arms are a PITA to take off...raise the hood, stop the wipers, pull the arm up...but wait, the combination is never right and my fingers always get stuck between the hood and the arms and the lack of space to take out those stupid tabs!!! :headbang:

I seem to have to adjust mine every few months to prevent the driver's side wiper from marring up my door as it glides past the edge of the windsheild!! But yeah, you aren't alone. These things are annoying. But adjustable.

Almost all Gen2 Taurii Slap. Basically if it starts slapping and you need to have them going that fast, it would be time to slow down my friend
