Since RT means nothing in terms of numbers, he likely was concentrating on getting his launch perfect to get the best numbers. A 13 second reaction time that results in a great 60' time is likely going to have a better trap time than a perfect reaction time with a crappy 60' time.

If you're going for your own best time and not for the head to head race, RT is nothing.

Ok, let's try this again. Kris and I went to Beaver Springs this past Sat for Test and Tune and Swap meet. The day started out cold but got really nice right about lunch time. Everyone there had a good time, think everyone was good to be at the track. Well started out putting on the '12 wheels with the F1's mounted to them, ummm WHOOPS! Had major wheel hop, even trying launching rpm's . By the 3rd run, I just shut down totally the Advance Trac, and that worked, still had wheel hop, but car ran a 12.828. YEAH! So right before lunch, I decided to put the flower wheels with Yokahamas mounted on them. So then, with just the TRAC off, the car ran a 12.777, no wheel hop at all. Couldn't believe that, no wheel spin either. Car was great the rest of the day and very consistent. Had group of guys come over to check out the car, and they asked what all was done to the car. I told them and they were all impressed. Towards the end of the day, I got to run a tuned 15 Mustang GT 5.0. He was tuned by Lund and was running DOT street slicks. Both runs we were even to just past 1/8 mile and I lost both runs by 1.5 cars. I was very happy how the SHO stacked up against him. We talk a little in the staging lanes between runs and was very nice and knew of Livernois. Has they are the one for tuning the Ecoboost, so he knows. Made me feel good. So overall, take away from the beginning of the day with tire issues, V10 tune is AWESOME!! Oh yeah, I had reflashed back to 93 V10, and the car only had about 60 miles on it before I hit the track, so I feel as it "settles in", there should be more in her. Next is the Escape, want to see how it runs stock here. Stay tuned more to come!!!

Run #3 12.828 107.16
Run#4 12.832 107.13
Run#5 12.814 107.62
Run#6 12.777 107.41 tire change here
Run#7 12.822 106.79
Run#8 12.787 106.97
Run#9 12.801 107.73
Run#10 12.835 107.36
Run#11 12.847 107.73

As you can tell its a very good "numbers" car. I know the '12 wasn't that good. So we will see this Friday night.

Here is a comparison between Cecil Count and Beaver Springs. Cecil County is a faster track by .200 over Beaver, cause Beaver is going up hill by 30'-40' from start to finish.

Beaver Springs Cecil County
V10 93 stock box V8 93 Airaid

60' 1.837 1.899
330' 5.296 5.340
1/8 8.188 8.235
MPH 85.60 85.91
1000' 10.692 10.697
1/4 12.777 12.768
MPH 107.41 109.09

Interesting results, huh.

Bonus pics and video, hope it doesn't mess things up again.

Well turned out to be an AWESOME night of racing. Won the True Street class I run in. Was a very tight final. I ran on a 13.12 dial and ran a 13.124 and other car dialed a 16.35 and ran a 16.368. Difference on the victory was .077. Yeah it was tight. When the temps dropped and wind calmed down, I had to keep dropping my dial down. Even the 13.12 I dialed in for the final, I still had to hit the brakes. Thank FORD for upgrading the brakes on these things. Also got a bonus out of this night too. They have a class known as Top Street. They take the fastest 8 cars from qualifying time shot and run them off. They always come from the Modified Street class. Since it was kinda light car count, I didn't know that the also combined True Street cars in the Top Street. Well the SHO made it. I joked all last year, that it would be cool to see the SHO in that class. Well it happened last night. When they called out the line up, I kinda had to do a double take and went up to the tower just to make sure it was right. Yeah it was. So I got to run with the big boys. Weird being the car that was being run down, used to it being the other way. Lost in first round, but didn't matter it was cool. So good way to start out the season!!!

Impressive!

Excellent personal achievement & way to rep the platform.

Print that pic, frame it, and hang it in the garage or the man cave.... it's a keeper!

I know what kind of "services" Jaimie offers at those rest stops & don't let him fool you about them being 2 miles away.

He's known to travel to you / outcalls.

Lolololol..... now there's a thread jack.
