I have the Autolux Titanium tint on my car.
It's only 35% but the titanium layer helps repel the heat and nasty rays. It also has a greenish/gold tint to it which goes well with my car (rare green wink ). Not cheap though!

SolidState:
tinting your car doesn't keep it cooler when it is sitting in the sun. It actually does the opposite, as black attracts heat.

It does help against colour fade and material break down for the interior though...

tint does help keep heat down. Yes, dark does get warm, but only on surface, the cooling effect of allowing a lot less infrared into the car, especially with dark upholstery, far offsets the heat on the surface of the tint.
I used a 3M mirror film on the sunroof -really cut down the heat, but could see through it fine.
