I was just checking to see if the window motors were the same between sho and slo models.

For the record, according to Ford Parts, they are the same between the SHO and the SLO.

The passenger-front motor, that's going out on mine is $132 (dunno if that's with discount or not).

NAPA carries the motors as well, and the Ford Parts guy told me that even with my 20% discount on stuff, it's cheaper from NAPA.

Here's NAPA's partnumbers and prices:

From the Rayloc line:

Driver's Front: P/N 49-309, $65.29
Passenger's Front: P/N 49-308, $42.60
Driver's Rear: P/N 49-07, $65.88
Passenger's Rear: P/N 49-06, $65.88

If your local NAPA store won't give you good enough prices, call Albany Auto Parts in Oregon at 541-967-9298 and ask for Emil, and tell him that you saw this on the SHOforum.

They do charge shipping, but it's not a flat rate, you'd have to have them quote you for that.

i got my motor at my local juckyard just had to look at 3 tauruses till i found a clean one.i mean one without any rust on it.charged me $15 for it.

Just remember that if it is not engine/trannny related, it is a Taurus/Sable part. I have lost track how many times I have gone into a parts store and they look up a part under SHO, and say sorry don't carry it, then when I ask same year slo, viola they have it in stock dirt cheap, also works for dealers, for some reason if you mention Sho, they charge double.
