I've never heard of an MTX5 from that vintage, there was an M5TXA for some sub-2-liter applications back then, and it's often incorrectly referred to as an MTX5.

The SHO MTX-IV was derived from the ****** MTX-III (three), which was a also a 5-speed. With the exception of a few of the bearings, most of those parts should work in an MTX-IV.

As far as bearings , most of them are available in the local bearing shop , except one or 2 , I had a bad one in mine when I rebuilt a scrapped one , and theres NO WAY IN **** you can have these in new. And I tried , Even called the company that makes them (SOYO).

That are two bearings in the MTX-IV that appear to have standard Bearing Interchange Numbers, but the ID of the inner race is non-standard, so when you get the standard bearing, it won't work in the application. AFAICT, these were made for Mazda/Ford by KOYO.

If my old-ass notes are correct, the bearings are:
1. Input shaft (case end), the outer race is a standard LM48510-N, the cone-roller assembly is Koyo/Hi-Cap ST3265-N, this was Ford PN E9DZ-7025-A.
2. 1 to 4 output shaft, (bell housing or pinion gear end), the outer race is again an LM48510-N, but the cone/roller assembly is Koyo/Hi-Cap ST2765-1-N, this one was Ford PN E9DZ-7025-B.

Everything else in the MTX-IV is standard stuff.
(Outer race/cone-roller assembly)
Input shaft, clutch end: Timken LM67010/LM67049A.

Output shaft, case end: Timken LM67010/JLM67042, otherwise known as Timken Set 30.

5th gear shaft, both ends: Timken LM12711/LM12749, otherwise known as Timken Set 16.
