Ok i went to napa today to buy loktite for the input shaft sleeve, the only thing they had was green permatex penetrating grade threadlocker, the guy i bought it from said it would work just want to see what u guys think.

And do u have to take off the oil pan to replace the rear main seal if the carrier gasket is ok.

Nope. Just replace the rear main seal (the round one) and leave the carrier gasket and rear oil pan seal alone.

hope yours goes better then mine. my rear main was VERY hard to get out even after I removed the plate.
