in an attempt to find some replacement fog lights, i am wondering if these will work. I researched on the trusty old forum here, and see that the pilot 1055 are the most commonly used. I also saw a post that said 2055. So after calling the surrounding 3 counties, i have finally located a pair of 2055C. will these work? I understand they will have to be modded. Just wondering what the "C" meant (if any one knows) before i waste my time and gas driving to get them. Thanks in advance for any info

C might stand for clear. They look like they will work judging by the picture I found.

thank you, i was kindof thinking that myself, i already bought one set last week that wouldnt. i swear it dont matter what i need for her, even the things that seem simple, no one in kentucky ever has it. i looked at the online pic too, looked ok to me as well. i have carried a fog light with me in my purse on my lunch breaks, walmart, autozone, advance, orileys..no luck. still hunting around, finally called around this morning and found this set in mulhenburg county, i just didnt want to **** my whole day for nothin, but i guess imma head down that way in a bit. hey by the way, u think i will need a relay too? thanks again

Regardless of what you get, you'll probably have to do some kind of tinkering to get it to fit. In other words, you'll have a hard time finding a direct bolt-in. I think you'll be fine using the factory wiring.

That kicks @$$! Very proud of you. Also join and look around at the TCCA site. There are probably more members that do appearance/and lighting mods over there. You should be albe to get good ideas and feedback on different foglights.

lmao...u have no idea, but thanks for the compliment! I just picked these up, they look a tad bit smaller than stock, but i gotta get somethin done, workin second shift requires me to bring her home in the dark, im hoping this will help some till i get me some new head lights, slowly i am getting her all back together again, i will get there eventually, i piddle everyday. I was lookin on that rock auto, and saw the headlights, i figure i will be better off to just get some new ones, whats the difference between sho and slo other than the $$$? will both work? is there a difference between slo model's ie "gl, lx" whatever? thinkin 35 a piece is not bad at all, probably the route to take, if they will work...

I can (almost) see by your avatar that you have a gen 2. SLO headlights won't work on the SHO, but Sable headlights will. Bad news is, they don't come with the fishtanks, so you'll have to swap them over (two phillips screws), but the good news is they are also ridiculously cheap. Any 92-95 Sable headlamp will fit.

uhh, infact i did, as i took the old ones off my self as well. had to use some wire nuts though, i ve got to get me a couple of those crimp things on there, but they are on there and working, just waiting for it to get dark now, so i can make necessary adjustments. i can do some things to her, im not afraid lol, and if i cant do it myself, i can pretty much tell you exactly whats going on, i def have learned alot over these past 10 years. i cant explain it... just something about it, my car is sooo sexy it makes me cringe

yea, they are much dimmer than the fogs, but, the bulbs are new. Its my lens on the head lights all yellowed out, next thing on the list, but the fogs made a world of difference as far as seeing at night

Easiest thing to do with the headlights is buy some Sable headlights of the same year. They are the same headlight, but MUCH MUCH cheaper than SHO lights. The only difference between the two is the innermost unlit "fishtank", which you can swap over.

Install some relays on the headlights and foglights, it'll make them a bit brighter..
