Just got off the phone with Kelly from BCB, it seems the BDX Performance Programmer may not work on the SHO platform. Now I know it is offered by several tuners and someone even posted a receipt where they purchased one for there SHO. Kelly said he sold one to a guy with a 2016 and it worked but he also sold one to a guy with a 2010 and it did not work. I looked it up on the Bully Dog web site and it states the BDX is NOT available for the 2012 Ford SHO. I am not in any big hurry so for now my order is on hold, while BCB submits a support ticket to the company. So anyone out there have any insight or advice, big thanks to Kelly an BCB for double checking things before they sent out a product. Thanks in advance for your help.

Ford updated the programming logic behind the PCM in MY2013. Might be why support for MY2010-12 is not available (yet). I believe Diablo also does not support MY2010-12.

So are we waiting on Ford to update the 2010-2012 or are we waiting on the tuner company's to update there equipment to be compatible, and does anyone have a time frame for when that might happen. Kind of crazy, I thought the cars where pretty similar, power train wise, what is programming logic anyway.

It is all in the hands of the tuner company. Ford has put their product in place, now the aftermarket has to catch up to it.

The PCM is a computer, it runs on computer programming, and the logic (the WHY) is the basis for the program (the WHAT & HOW) that is written to execute that logic.

Excuse me while I vent a bit....
- First, Hats off to Kelly at BCB, great customer support, seems like an amazing person. If BCB fits your needs I encourage you to do business with them.
- So the answer for 2010 - 2012 SHO owners is a big fat NO BDX will not work and no one at Bully Dog seems very interested in helping us out. I guess when you an your sister company SCT corner the market on tuners you can stop trying to get new customers.
- Bully Dog, customer support (unlike BCB) is greatly lacking, first if you try to send them an email via there web site and mistakenly include a dashes (-) in the phone number (phone number required) it will not work and it will not send your message, the system will not tell you why your message will not send. It took me multiple days and messages to finally figure it out and get through to them, (yes I know I am computer challenged). Once I did send my email they where prompt in there one sentence reply but lacking in any real concern for me as a customer. I am sure others of you out there would not take it the same way but I tend to believe a company should do what ever they can (with-in reason) to earn my business. In fact even a polite lie (I will check with the programmers and get back to you Sir) would make me feel a lot better. OK, I'm done, Not going to make any declarations but I wish Banks tuners would work on our cars.
