Hey guys and gals.
I just have a quick question. I'm looking into buying a programmer and have 3 in mind.

1. Diablosport Trinity 2 EX platinum
2. Hypertech max energy spectrum
3. SCT Livewire TS+

I'm leaning towards the Livewire because it's powerful, a good price middle ground of the 3 options and it's more reliable than the Diablosport. With this in mind, according to SCT themselves, my stock engine '16 SHO isn't compatible with the livewire. I've seen posts on this forum praising the livewire and Ortiz performance (another reason to lean towards the livewire) so I'm confident it will work after I make the purchase. Am I missing something, or will the Livewire work right out of the box? Does anyone know why the company that makes it says it's not compatible?

I've had a Livewire TS+ in my '12 SHO for 5+ years. Maybe they're saying that they have no pre-packaged tunes. My tune was from Unleashed but one from Ortiz should work fine.

I have a LWts+ on a 13 and 17. They are nice and you can use them as live gauges with up to 9 items displaying at the same time. IMO get a power pack from GH with or without the T stat. This is plugs, 3 bar, livewire and a 93 tune. Or buy the LW from AJP with a 93 tune and buy the 3 bar and plugs from GH. Enjoy!

The Livewire TS+ works on my 2015 Explorer Sport and 2017 Police Interceptor. Get part number 5015P (as suggested by AJP). I believe they only state which tunes they believe are compatible, the hardware supports more vehicles.

@TimeLord I had a Diablo tuner and would 100% blame it for my transmission failure at 11k. Search my posts - stay away.

I had an HP - I liked the software and tuner itself - their license model sux - very few notable tuners.

SCT is the only way to go - more tuners for this platform use them and you have many options for who can tune.
