Will 205/55/16's work on Slicers?

Sorry about that Chris. It was just a joke that should'nt have been mentoioned. I didn't claim it was ugly or anything, it was just about if it felt like it made the car faster. I know the smaller tires do help. I'm glad to hear you got the wing off and sorry about the rims, I thought they where pink. How ever, I do like your car with out the red rims and the way it's dropped. I believe the other rims you had where slicers, but I can't recall. Anyways it seems to look like nice car with out the spoiler and the red rims. Sorry about the head ache if I caused one wink

(X-15)- thanks, no offense taken, yeah, I didnt know that you were joking, but I mean I get a lot of crap from people about my rms/wing and it just gets old, I mean I know everyone doesn't like my car, but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about SHOs you know? well agin, thanks, sorry that I interpreted that the wrong way.

(bradman)- I was telling him about my 225/55/16 because: if the sho comes stock with 215/60/16, and I have 225 on my slicers and they fit fine, then 205's will fit fine with no problems, BUT, I wouldn't put 205's on my car because the SHO is already starved for traction, and giving it less tire width wil just make things worse. I was also trying to explain to him that it doesn't screw up your speedo with the lower profile tires, thanks

Chris and John,
Sorry for questioning your posts. I realize now your were just trying to point out what tires you have and what is working for you.

Nice to see all the chatter about the topic.
But I have of course decided not to get them.
As far as the 45/50/55 profile issue is concerned, I will only go with a 55 with the current suspesion. I wouldn't go any lower profile until I lower my car. In fact, I will be putting my gen III chromes on my gen I for the summer anyways. They already have 225/55's on them.
I just thought it would be a good by for some decent tires.

Thanks,

Mike
