LPM and TwEECer info
Also the d4u1 makes it possible for a
Ted B life time performance module to be used on the car. (I dont know much about tuning so im not opting for the tweecer just now.)
The life time performance module is a computer chip that is programed by this guy by the name of Ted B. It is a permanent calibration of the air fuel mixture. Only Ted B can program it. If i want to add a larger intake, I'll need the module (LPM) added to my new D4U1. I think the LPM is also beneficial for the stock 55mm intake as well. I could not have added the LPM to my old computer, it wouldnt have worked.
Just remember you need the d4u1 for the LPM to work
As mentioned above, there is also another option called the
twEECer, Anyone could adjust the air fuel mixture with the twEECer, alls you need is a laptop. It could be used with my old 93 EEC but since I dont know sh** about programming I'm not gonna mess with that right now.
btw, thanx to everyone out there for thier help earlier. Hopefully i wont blow the d4u1 when I add the LPM later on in life. But knowing my luck
Actually I read somewhere on the forum that someone blew thier EEC because their LPM was installed upside down... (scary thought considering my predicament)
