Hey People,
You probably don't remember me but my former name on here was........................SHO_ROLLER! Ok, so I'm not that original, but anyway. I blew up the tranny in the SHO. It's a white '90 with 185K miles on it. I want this thing done RIGHT because the motor is going off to my dads friend in Delaware. He builds drag engines for a living and he wants to tinker with the YamaHAMMER! Right now I'm driving around my '03 Jeep Liberty 4x4. I just put straight pipes and a K&N filter on her. I tell you what, I miss the 120+mph runs in the SHO, but I look at it this way, now since my SHO isn't my daily drivewr, I can REALLY have some fun  !

Thanks for any info in advance!

Ditto PM Bizzy about an MTX tranny build. 120+ in a 15 year old unit body automobile with almost 200K miles on it?

You could also send it to a tech school they will fix it for cheap. Most of the time you just need to pay for parts and shop supplies. i had mine fixed at a tech school that i went to last fall and it only cost me $72 but they could not get any synchros or bearings from any part suppliers, but mine were in good shape anyway.
