I was referring to a supercharger.

But seriously, can you give any more details? How loud is it, can hear hear it while driving or ideling? Can you isolate it to the front of the engine or the back?

while we are on the subject of alternators if that is in the area of your problem, would be anything along the *edit* serpintine belt. Check the belt for anything ripping off the edges, make sure your power steering resavoir is full, altenator could be a problem, along with anything that the belt spins(even idler pulleys---if I had a similar diagram to the underhood belt route sticker I could help more as I don't know exactly what the sho's belt has)

you mentioned a noise but gave no other specifics...
what does the car do when you notice the noise, when does the noice occur more specifically, do you hear it more when you turn, just on the gas, or both?

does it make this sound with the a/c on only?

help me help you as I don't have your car in front of me

Thanks guys, alternator is what i'm thinking as well.
The sound is loudest when i'm on the gas then, when decelerating the noise quiets as the motion slows, With the ac on/off same thing, Performance is not an issue, car runs great, pulls like a mule.
Thanks for all the help.
