I'm home for Christmas, and it's time for some repairs on the SHO. First off is my broken front motor mount. I was pretty sure that the SHO uses a solid mount. However the guys down at Carquest said that I had the option between a solid mount and a liquid mount. What do you guys think? As far as I knew, my options are to either replace with an OEM part.(which I plan to do because its only $60 with my discount.) Or buy a reinforced one from sho nut. Are these guys full of crap? Help me out guys, I need to buy it today. Thanks

He's right there were liquid mounts but I believe they were only for the automatics. So I'm pretty sure you would need them. I would go with the reinforced if they make them for the ATX.

Get the liquid mount. Its the only correct listing.

The "solid" mount is for the other Tauri I believe.

P.S. Nobody makes a reinforced mount for the ATX.

Not true... SHO SHOps, according to their webpage, now offer reinforced ATX motor mounts. Also, I'd advise you don't get any kind of mount and slap it in your SHO! That's a tsk tsk, in my opinion. Get something well worth the money as your traction, ride feel and expected life span of the mounts rely on it.... The mounts are listed @ shoshop.com under '89-'95 SHO > Drivetrain > Engine Support...

Good luck with your pick!
