Well, the nearly-as-old replacement horn bit the bullet, finally, and its time to throw a new one on. I looked up horns on Napa and came up with these two items:
http://www.napaonline.com/masterpag...neCode=BK&PartNumber=7301056&Description=Horn
http://www.napaonline.com/masterpag...neCode=BK&PartNumber=7301057&Description=Horn
with the only difference being that one is 420hz and the other is 500hz. Do you guys know which one is the right one? Is this the right horn?

Also, seeing as how the car is still in Vancouver and I'm in another time zone, it shouldn't take the shop more than an hour to switch the old out for the new, should it?

Thanks for any help!

I believe the SHO, like most American cars use the dual frequency horns. One is low and the other high pitched; why they do that I don't know. There might be an "H" or "L" on the individual horn unit to identify them.

The dual tones have a better sound. It's the luxury you know.

Better to pay attention to the loudness as measured by db.

I just bought a Flamm replacement horn this week at Canadian tire. It says "low pitched sound, louder than OEM, more like a semi horn" or something like that.
It's a one frequency horn, but sounds great and louder than stock.
My low tone horn didn't worked, so I threw them out. Took me 10 minutes to change, and costed $27. It also came with a new braket, a rust-free one!!
