Where to plug in code reader for '91 SHO MTX

Hey guys,

I am new to this car and do not know where the code reader port is located.

How does that work since it's a 1991? I have a CEL on, and I am not sure what it could be. I'm fearful that it could be an emissions issue.

Hey man, welcome to the forum.

Luckily on the gen 1 and 2's you dont need a "code reader" all you need is a paperclip and a little walk through to this site.

although if you do have a code reader, you will find the ports on the passenger side strut tower. you will just need the proper attatchments to do the job
