I am swapping a low milage motor into my 92 SHO. It only has 40k on it but I want to do water pump, timing belt, clutch, etc before I put it in the car to save time and trouble later. I want to buy everything from one vendor so can someone point me in the right direction? Anything else I should do before I drop it in? I already have low milage tokicos and eibachs, low milage subframe bushings, etc. Thanks

depends how much you wanna spend, being as the engine is old replacing coolant hoses and all the rubber lines might be a good idea. Im not doing it on my car ill wait till they blow up (bad idea but I don't have the cash) Doing a full 60k would also be a good idea but thats not cheap either. However RCM is the place to get pretty much everything you need.:thumb:

shobros seems decent although they are a "middle man" I believe, but RCM also seems to have many items coming from one vendor... what do people think about shobros?

I've yet to order from them, but they seem capable and are always adding new things. I've found that using multiple vendors gets you the best prices and a diverse selection you can't get from just one.

RCM has very few performance products whereas SHO Bros is one of the only performance vendors available.

Thanks for the RCM reccomendation. I just placed a pretty large order through them and they were great to deal with! I checked with SHO bros as well and they had a good selection but their prices were a bit higher on the normal maintainance items I was ordering. I would definately be looking into them for performance stuff
