I just ordered all the weird parts for my clutch job from SHO Nut Performance. Now I will have EVERYTHING I need to do a full clutch replacement and upgrade, save the flywheel.

Where is the best and cheapest place to order a lightened flywheel? I was recommended a 17lb flywheel, if I remember correctly.

Thanks,
Ari Cohen

Get in touch with Kirk via our website http://www.nesho.com (best to call him on the phone, he gets a zillion emails a day).

We don't have any information on our site about our flywheels, but Kirk can give you the info you need.

SHO Shop offers a 17lbs Steel Billet flywheel for the SHO. If you are going to the Ming meet this weekend, I can see if I can pick one up for you and bring it with me or I will show you one that I have there.

Matt (SHOKID13) had his stock flywheel lightened. You may want to PM him for more info and location since he lives in SoCal.

Something that should be done at your own risk.

I agree. That is why I have a steel billet flywheel. Turning cast iron properly takes skill. I just wanted to point out all the options.

I can get the steel billet flywheel for you for $250 cash brand new in box. I can meet you on my way to or on my way back from Bakersfield tomorrow. I need to know soon so I can pick the flywheel up for you to deliver the flywheel to you tomorrow.

That's a good deal if you're truly looking to buy a lightened flywheel.

Bob, you seem to be in touch with SS, maybe it would be faster and better to have parts shipped if you were the middle man!

I have known Vadim from the old SHO Registry days before the SHO Shop opened. I was present when the first prototype of the y-pipe was revealed to the Southern California SHO Registry meeting and announcing the SHO Shop start up.
When I need something from Vadim I go pick it up and pay cash. I do pick up stuff for the local guys that hang out with us. What I pay is what I pass along. I have never made a dime off of anything I pick up.
$250 is a very good price for the steel billet flywheel. Most of the aluminum ones go for $30 - $120 more.
