I just started to dynamat my floor in my 95ATX and I figured that I would replace my carpet while it was out. Anyone on here have any experience with any particular company. I don't mind spending a few dollars to get a nice oem carpet and something that fits perfectly. I'm wondering if Ford still has them.

I doubt it... it would be worth a try.... However I'm sure the aftermarket has place's that make carpet. I would shop around and see if you can get it for a good price. Just remember.. that it's not cheap!

I found a few places and the prices are about the same ($120-150) but I'm concerned with quality. If I can't find anything that looks and fits like factory I'm going to reuse my old one. It sucks because everything is online and I can't see it in person that's why I posted this hoping someone else had a good experience from a certain company.

From what I've read, almost all of the aftermarket carpets are made by the same people and are pretty crappy. I want to say they are made by ACC, but I'm not sure.

Try www.impalasscarpet.com. He used to have a molded carpet for the Taurus. I've never seen the Taurus one, but I've ordered other stuff from him and it was good quality.

Yeah, I got one of the cheapo $150 carpets and the quality was awful and it fit very poorly. I would recommend you deep clean the factory carpet while you have it out and call it good.

I think that's what I'm going to do. It isn't too bad and I definately don't want a cheap one.

You can get a carpet from Dorsett through RockAuto, but you have to order the "Essex" upgrade to match the ounce weight of the factory carpet.

How does it fit compared to the factory carpet? Also is the essex upgrade similar to the factory. I'm not too concerned with color as long as it's close but my factory carpet in kind of thick and I want to match that.
