Ok I would love to get my alarm working again as well as my keyless entry....Now I have a 1991 with the keyless entry on the door, a siren under the hood, and every time I disconnect the battery the lights and siren go off...

I used to have the keyless entry remote for the car, until it broke off my keys and is now history. I think I found the brain in between the radio and the steering column under the dash, it has about 5 or 6 different kind of wires going into it. I know that the keyless remote had an ARM (red) and a DISARM (green) button on it, and if I ever did arm it, it'd disable the starter of course, and it also had a shock sensor, and if you pulled up on the door handle or messed with the keyless entry, or opened a door with the key, it'd go off....

Now-a-days, I just have the valet switch taken out so I can start the car without having to press it.

But, anyways, I looked for the little gray connector with those pins in it that you are supposed to short, that come out of the keyless entry module, and I can't find it. I looked all over the trunk, all around the fuel cut off switch, behind the seat, under the seat, behind the glovebox, etc....anyone have a picture of it or any other ideas where it could be? It'd be nice.

Is it the dealer installed Ford alarm? Because GenIs did not come with a key-fob option.

It is a Ford alarm, and my VIN when it was run by my insurance also said it didn't have an alarm system...but the stickers on the doors say it has an Anti Theft System, and the remote had a Ford logo on it....

I don't really know what to tell you. I would get all the numbers on the alarm box and try googling them to see if you can come up with any info that way...

Sounds like a Ford dealer installed alarm, not a Ford factory installed. It happens all the time. Same thing only different... I'm going to be looking for mine this weekend, but it's a 94. I'll let you know if and where I find it.
