Where does this wire go?

Well I'm putting back together my 92's front end and this is the one thing I can't figure out. It leaves the wiring harness right behind the drivers headlight. The cords length is about probably 2ft 6ins or so. It ends with a female connection that must connect to a 2 prong male end. the femal connect has flat sides and rounded ends and a yellow peice on the end. I can't find this wire on the end someone help.

Most likely it’s for the ambient air sensor for the EATC.

No it's not in the back of the engine bay its right behind the driverside headlight. I'll see if I can get pics up soon.

wouldn't the headlight be in the front of the engine bay?

j/k, I always wanted to say that before someone else.

I know my 91 has an extra connector on the d/s (similar to your description, but closer to the throttle body) that isn't used for anything. Did you figure it out?

Reread what I said I said it wasn't in the back of the engine bay. And yes the car runs fine without it. Its right in front of the airbox and behind the heaqdlight. I wish I had a digital camera :headbang:

It's the DRL connector.

If you had DRL's the module would plug in there.
