I've been looking for months, and even ordered a Lloyds Mat on-line, but none do what I need. I want to cover the entire trunk floor...not just the recessed area above the spare tire well.

I have one of the Ford accessory trunk organizers, which fills that recessed area to make the floor flat...but has really helpful compartments. It matches the trunk nicely and is carpeted to match.

I'd like a full trunk floor mat. It looks like anything I can find aftermarket or from Ford only fits the recessed area. Local upholstery shops aren't interested in doing this. I did find one that would alter an existing mat so that I can open the different compartments without rolling up the entire mat. Currently, I'm using a shipping blanket, but would like a nice carpeted mat.

Thanks ToMang07...found a pic of that piece. Looks like it also fits the recessed area...and a little more...but I no longer have the recess...

A custom floor mat? If that's what necessary...

Weathertech also only fits the spare tire recess.

If memory serves, Lloyds can make one, but they are under the impression that the 2018 Taurus is all new...and need me to send them a template. I can do this, if needed...but thought someone may know of a company that makes a full mat for our trunks. I'd prefer carpet..

...and me....a nice, clean shipping blanket. I just think I'd like to upgrade.

Which, brings me to a point. Why am I so retentive about keeping the trunk perfect? For that matter, the whole car...perfect. I did all I could to protect the car and still use it everyday. Did the clear bra, the ceramic coating, factory splash guards....

I think I'm gonna only use the blanket when there's unusual or dirty stuff going in...and the rest of the time enjoy the storage accessory I installed. It's a huge help....except when it's under a darned blanket! I really can't believe Ford doesn't sell more of them...

Well, I work fleet and need a battery anyway so I stopped by the local Ford dealer that we deal with for parts since they give us special pricing as an employee of a wholesale account customer. BXT-65-850 battery was $110 out the door which wasn't bad so I asked about the organizer. The parts guy tells me that he thinks he has one upstairs that's probably been there since my car was new (2013). Sure enough he brings it down and I ask how much, so he talks with his manager and he sold it to me for $50 to make it go away. Thanks for posting this Matt, I never knew it existed and I got lucky to be in the right place at the right time. Took me about 15 min to figure out what the **** the golf bag holders were. Good luck with the quest for a mat but at least the organizer matches and he told me it fits 2010 and up models. p/n 9A5J-19A428-AB3ZRE (Taurus and MKS)

6500RPM...that certainly worked out well! Congrats. I ditched the gold club bag things.

I have found that organizer to be a huge help, and really finished the trunk nicely. The most rearward door opens, and stands vertically as a divided area for grocery bags, etc. I also put some anti-skid drawer liner in the rear area to keep stuff from rattling and sliding.

Good luck with yours!
