Does anyone know where I can get one?
I found a part on rockauto.com called "Heater and AC controls/valves/actuator" but I'm not sure if that is it. It costs $12.98. I am thinking that it should cost more than that, so I probably found the wrong part.
I had no luck at autozone.
The ford garage is my last resort.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I picked one up NIB from eBay last year to throw on the shelf for someday - I seem to remember paying a lot more than that for it (Ford version).

I'm cleaning up bits & pieces around the shop, feel free to come on down if you're interested. Email offline.

I think they run between $50 & $100 (just from what I've read. Part number is: FODZ-19E616-A

McMahon Ford in Norwalk CT lists that they have one. 877-531-1863 is their number. Or get the one that Fred has (you snuck your post in while I was typing Fred. :) )

Before you go and order a part that you possibly need, make sure you run the self test on the climate control. There's nothing worse than getting a non-returnable part and doing the labor just to find that the problem wasn't with the part you bought. And believe me, if you do the labor on the blend door and that's not what the problem is ... you're going to want to drive the car off a cliff. wink

JMOFF92,

Bizzy makes the point perfectly, that is do the diagnostics. Just getting to the blend air door motor (or actuator) is a job and a half. Plus, you do not want to spend $100 for a part only to find out you have a bad connection.

If you have already done the testing and just need to know where to get the part, then Bizzy has an answer for that too. Isn't she resourseful? rangerj

Thank you for the responses.
I have already made sure that the BDA is the problem. Got the "02" code, and checked fuse 17.
I don't see what else it could be.
It seems as though the door is stuck at a certain point. If I set it to 90 degrees and then I set it to 75 degrees, the air coming out feels exactly the same. If I set it down to 60 degrees then I feel a significant difference.
