hey everyone I have a question and I hope you guys can answer a problem I've had with my SHO for over a year. THe brakes, first they were smoking (fixed that) and now they don't work at all, we've replaced the rubber hoses, the proportioning valve, the master cylinder emergency brake cables and other things as well and I still have zero stopping power, the pedal goes all the way to the floor and BARELY stops the car (even when going very slow). It also keeps cooking a fuse almost though I think we have that under control. Thge pads and rotors are good and even if they weren't (as I'v driven cars that have had pretty worn ones) it still shouldn't be this inept at stopping. ANY help at all is appreciated I'm at the end of my rope here, I have put so much money in this thing now that I CAN'T get rid of it so I might as well finish whatever it is.

Have you bled you brakes lately? Check all lines (hard and rubber) for leaks. Do you have a caliper hung up causing the fluid to boi and cause fade. Also check the brake pedal linkage. Your problem may not even be related to anything hydraulic. With this kind of problem, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the solution saw some stupid little thing. headbang

Good luck
Mike
