I bought one off ebay , used it and re-sold it - I lost about 40$ which is ok for one use.

I was wondering if anybody else stuffed some 18 wheels under their SHO. I found a set of 18x8(5x108) with 235/40's on them for $400 and they actually look pretty good. They going to fit? Rims

I have a set of 19X8 rims and I had to trim the wheel well on my 91.
I ysed some masking tape and a cut off wheel.

As some others have said, the heat gun is used to warm up the paint so it won't crack when you're rolling the sheet metal.

No need to over heat the paint, just hot enough that you still can, but won't be comfortable touching it.
Otherwise just be patient, set aside at least 2 hours for the first fender if it's your first time using the roller. The other fender will likely take you 1/2 the time as the first, but don't rush or you'll likely crack the paint.

Sweet. I'll probably pick them up next week then.

Can you ask to test fit one on the rear first? 45mm offset is definitely not ideal for our cars and unless he would let you return them, you could potentially end up with 4 very heavy, very large, and very expensive paper weight.

Yea, I was thinking I was going to bring a jack and impact gun with me and test one out before I actually purchased them.
