I just got some wheel skins to replace the aging leather on my steering wheel. I got the AXX size at first, which is for 14.5-15.5 inches 3.75 grip. I realized after getting this one that it won't fit over the steering wheel without cutting off the factory leather first. So I tried that, but then the wheelskin was way too big for the wheel. So I tried getting the smaller size AX 14.5-15.5" diameter, 3.25" grip. Still too big, it overlaps the wheel and looks like it won't be tight. Anyone use these and if so did you take off the factory leather cover? I am gonna now try a smaller size 'A' which is 15-16" inch diameter, and 2 3/4" to 3 1/8" grip. Hopefully this one fits the bare steering wheel.

Why don't you return it and correct size?

Well I'm not sure what the correct size is anymore. I got it at a local speed shop and already returned it once and the second one wasn't right either. I've got to find something that fits 14.5" and 3" in grip size (give or take). I did call the company and they said they would make a custom sized one for me, so that'll work. Just didn't realize it would be such a big deal getting it to fit.

I got one from Don a couple weeks ago and it fit perfectly... His price was competetive and I knew I wouldn't have to worry about getting the right size!

That's cool, I just measured the sizes and they'll make me a custom fit one. It was $30 and no shipping time, what can I say, temptation got to me.
