OK, I've searched, and found conflicting info- I want to pull 2 slicers off at the boneyard, but they've got Ford locks on them. I have seen posts saying 16mm, 18mm, and 19mm and a 21mm 12-point as the socket to pound on to get them off. Can anyone confirm what size I need to buy 2 of tomorrow? I guess I can buy 2 of each, but I'd rather not.

It's 20 degrees- should I take a propane torch to heat them up?

easiest way I've found is with a chisel, but thats just me, I do them at work with my air hammer. 21-22mm 12pt should work, but a wheel lock removal tool set is the way to go, they are cheap enough to save the hassle.

I've found that if you tighten the **** out of the remaining 4 sockets, the one with the lock becomes much easier to take off. Worst that can happen? You break a stud. You're not worried about that, so tighten away! Also, a pair of vise grips (Viper grips from lowe's work exceptionally well) and an appropriate breaker bar also work well. My lock nuts were, I believe, 19mm.
