I recently picked up a set of 94 Knuckles with "new" wheel bearings in them. I put them on my SHO with the 96 Brake Upgrade but now I can tell that the passenger side wheel bearing is bad. How much am I looking at to get some new wheel bearings pressed in?

I recently pressed in a set of bearings on my own 94 knuckles. Upon removing the hub on one, the hub shaft de-laminated and I needed a new hub. Hub was around $70 at Autozone (Armistice Blvd), including a new bearing.

PROBLEM:
The bearing they include in the cheapo kits is just that - cheapo. I use Timken bearings, which are around $40-$50 each from memory.

Actually pressing out the bearing will depend on where you take it. Now that I'm set up to do them, I can replace the bearing for $50 each with the knuckle already removed. Turnaround can be a couple of days as I have to wait for press time to open up at the shop, or stay after hours.

Be sure to properly torque the axle nut. Improper torque, or the nut coming loose will **** a new bearing. It's recommended to replace those axle nuts. Sometimes the used nuts will not stay tight, er, I mean properly torqued.

Here are my new loaded calipers I bought. I just got the caliper mount bracket to knuckle bolts today, so the SHO will be running again soon.
