What's your average MPG

Newbie here with a 2011 w/ the pp; love the car! Not to impressed with the gas mileage.

When going down the interstate I set the cruise at 78, and get 22 mpg, give or take. What's everyone else getting for mpg?

I would expect you to get at least 24-26. It varies.

I got 24.5 MPG on a recent trip to Long Island at 70 MPH and that was with some stop and go.

My '12 (no performance package) gets about 24 commuting the 10 miles each way to work. Drove it to St Louis for the basketball regionals and averaged 27.5 for the total 2000 mile trip, which was matching the traffic on the interstates and going thru the mountains. Have knocked out 30 on a couple of shorter trips on flat land at slightly slower speeds.

Drove 500 miles earlier this week and got just under 26 MPG for the trip. Entire trip was on the interstate.

I live in NJ and travel frequently to Montreal to see family. I set the cruise at 74 and routinely get 27mpg in both directions. Truly great for a car this large with this much performance.

Your 22 mpg PP has a 3.16 to 1 final drive ratio where the sandard SHO has 2.77 to 1, so quicker , but with lower mpg.

I have a 2011 w/o PP but with 20". I average 24-27 on the highway.

I get an average of 18 in the city, 22.8 on a 35 mile commute, and 24 on a long distance drive. My best was 25.

Another newbie with a 2011 PP SHO... I got 24-25 mpg on the highway on its 2 hour drive hom... about 19 mpg commuting to work since then, driving around locally. About 2,400 miles on it now... Just bought the Weather Tech Mats... Making my Livernois Tune purchase tonight... Really appreciate the wisdom and feedback on this site. AJM

I average 13 to 15 MPG with mostly city driving.

2010 PP SHO with around 47k miles and the dash says I've been averaging 22.4.

21.1 over the last ~3k miles (out of total 4K), mixed driving, 20 mile commute half on freeway, couple of 400 mile round trips Austin-Dallas. Got 27.3 on an Austin-Dallas leg at avg 80mph, but haven't seen anything that good since.

I used to get about 20mpg overall in my 2008 Taurus, so it seems to be a little better than that, and obviously with much higher performance.

24 MPG commuting 75 miles round trip city/hwy combined (non PP car).
27 MPG on 150 mile trip on two lane country roads.

I get about the same, 17-19MPG, I'm almost 100% city-type driving.

My 2010 non PP SHO has 42500 miles on it. I bought it with 2000 miles and reset the computer then. Since then the display has wavered between 17.9 after a prolonged time with no highway miles and it is now showing 22.3. That's average with about 50% suburban driving and the rest highway. I am thrilled with that mileage for a vehicle of this size with this much performance. No mods on my car, bone stock.
