you might have to put in your area code...

something seem amiss there??? hint hint.. shipping????

Im in need of a new flywheel... well actually a ring gear, as mine was damaged by the clutch blow out... but since this flywheel has been resurfaced a few times, im just going to buy a new one... plus im going to shave off 4lbs.... thanks Kenny! maybe i will try 4.5 lbs... or 5lbs.. :naughty: eh.. maybe not 5lbs... but for sure 4lbs...
im sure i can resurface mine, and get it lightened... but i would rather have it ready the day of.. that way i can drop trans, pull clutch/flywheel... then put everything back together with in a day.. maybe 2.. i know i could pull it off in about 6 hrs...non-stop.. but... YEAH right... non-stop working on a SHO=alot of shit broken from frustration....

anyways...
take a look at that flywheel... another hint... i think it would OUT REV a bike..... :oogle: :oogle: :naughty:
im going to go to the store tomorrow and see what the deal is... but in the mean time.... have at it...

Seems pretty cheap for a new replacement, I wonder how much it weighs!

The price and shipping are good. But: "Fits 86-98 Taurus"? I'd be concerned if it's the right part since the years are wrong. It does mention its for the V6 though.

It only weighs 2 pounds (and that probably includes shipping material!) according to the site...forget this fidanza flywheel...that thing weighs a ton compared to this guy.

well plus the new ring gear, then plus the trip to the machine shop.....

and like i stated, i want to have the new flywheel ready as soon as i get the old one out...

if i reuse mine, then i have to get it resurfaced, plus the lightening (sp?), then the new ring gear... all that time the car will be down... now if i had the new lightened flywheel ready i just pull out old and put new in... within a couple minutes... not a day... see where im getting at.... down time.... :thumb:
