What's wrong with my foglights?

Ok, after spending a small fortune on new foglight bulbs every 2 weeks and disasembling the foglights four or five times I've given up. Why would the bulb in my left foglight keep on blowing? There was water in them but I have sealed them with high temp silicone and they are as dry as a bone now. I've also checked the connection at the bulb and used diaelectic grease on the connection. I'm baffled...what could be the problem?

Have you been touching the bulbs with your hands? Or any other liquid for that matter. I know for hyperwhites they blow if you touch them. It is delayed though, you wont know it till later.

Yep my light is sealed tight, no water in it what so ever. The connection is nice and clean to the bulb and I have not been touching the bulbs at all. I know that that is bad for them. Thanks for the suggestions guys but what else could it be? It's always my left foglight, never the right. The wiring maybe...but where? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks.

Does the filament inside the bulb actually blow? Could be an intermittent connection, not uncommon.

Mine did the same thing. I wasn't touching them or nothing. Just make sure you put them in tight and check them every few days to make sure.
