whats up with my a/c blower?

Here's a question for you. When my a/c is on the blower quits working if there's any kind of a load being put on the engine. Like at around 80 mph or just going uphill. Basically when I have to give it throttle. As soon as I let off though the blower comes back on. Any ideas where and what this could be? My guess is a vacuum leak of some kind.
