Why hasn't anyone ran one of these motors on a Methanol/Nitro mix yet? Or a race gas/Nitro mix? You'd see that hp rating go way up.

If someone could fix up the front end to keep the power down and go with wider rims, that alone would be of great benefit. I don't see this happening unless some rich guy decides to play with the idea and actually go with the plan. It seems as if the guys interested in that and FWD's are looking into imports.

It wouldn't be too hard to make a set of wheelie bars. Just find a few spots in the rear end onto which to weld/bolt some mounts, and you could probably put them on at the track. Or drive around town looking like a knucklehead.

I actually check on doing just that .. however, it would take a LOT more injector than you can easily obtain. Methanol takes about 1.6x more fuel to get the A/F correct. I'm already maxing out 48# injectors now on pump/race fuel; so to just get where I am now you would need at least 80# injectors .. it would take a lot of $$ to do so .. a complete stand-alone fuel management system for starters ... and what kinda tranny are you going to use??

What brand of injectors are you using, and how much power are you putting down?

Accel #48s ... don't know with this combo, can't keep it together long enough to get it to the dyno.
