I am more than happy with my 400 hp/500 tq SHO (391/494) so I will probably be forgoing the HPFP for the future.

I have recently taken purchase of another car that most of my money will be spent on. Lol.
What did you get?

All season I would go with Continental DWS --dry wet snow. They are a great all season. After that I would go with a Micheline Pilot. Those are the 2 larger brands I always have a good experience with.

Just to add-- the best performance is really with tire compounds that are formulated for the environment they are used in. i.e. summer and winter tires are better in their respective elements than all season
Money, storage, and other factors make all season more practical but if you want even better handling, stopping and acceleration, a more specific tire can do alot to get you there.

^ before you get that deep into it, I would put some GOOD race fuel in it, 93 or higher (**** try a octane booster too) and see if you're still getting KR. If you are, then I would mess with all that wiring.

I know obviously no KR is ideal but for a 93 tune what is normal for a little KR? Depending on brand of gas on a WOT pull I still see as little as 1.5 to as much as 3.5.

I get zero positive knock on a 1/4 mile pull on E30 tune. -.2.25 is lowest it goes in other direction.

Likewise I’ve seen up to -4.5. I know I’ve heard with e30 you never see positive but I know people have said they’ve seen some positive knock with 93. It’s repeatable so I know it isn’t the wires.
I’ll see maybe .5 under normal driving conditions but always at least positive 1.5 under WOT.
