alright, im in the process of changing tranny fluid in my MTX, and im not putting the drain plug in since im probabaly only going to change the fluid in it once. Anyways, im not sure what to use to siphon the tranny fluid out, i have a hose that fits into the hole easily, but i cant manage to get it to the bottom of the tranny.

i would post a pic, but it looks like you need to link it from another website, and besides, i think you get the picture.

I use a Black and Decker manual vacuum pump with a rather stiff, curved 3/8" O.D. tubing to reach the lower recesses of the transaxle. I have been able to remove as much as 3.0 of the 3.1 quarts (6.2 pints) of fluid that are in the case using this method. The curve in the tubing is from being coiled up in its storage box and the curvature greatly aids getting it to the bottom of the casing.
