I have cross-drilled & slotted rotors on my front brakes and love them. If you do a lot of heavy-duty performance braking you need them. Standard solid or ventilated brakes do not dissipate heat well enough & the excessive heating and cooling causes the rotors to warp; then u get brake pulsation. The slotted and/or cross-drilled rotors are far better at cooling down the rotors. I don't think the brand is so much of a difference on the rotors. The cross-drilled feature is good, but the slotted cools even better; and of course both is the best. The only down side is you can't resurface the rotors once they are worn out.

thats simply a myth marketed to ricers to sell product.cross drilled rotors were designed to vent gas that builds between the pad and rotor.as someone else has stated modern pads don't have that problem any more. cross drilling leads to cracking from around the holes and reduces swept area on the rotor surface witch can actually REDUCE braking preformance.
if your looking to upgrade braking by dissipating heat the only real way to do this is upgrade the size of your rotors.
im running Mach one calipers with 13inch blank rotors, its kinda over ****.

You want to see overkill? Try 13'' Slotted Rotors with 4 Piston Wilwood Calipers....on a 2700 Pound car. I still have yet to 100% press down on the brake pedal. It's insane.

Bah its not overkill , it's how brakes are meant to be. I simply love them.
