What the HECK??

Ok as some of you may know who have read my earlier posts. I can't get my SHO to fire. So today I replaced the only part left on the whole ignition firing system. THe Camshaft Position Sensor. (still no go, aaarrrggghhh) but anyway after I install it I go to TRY and start the car but I noticed somehow the tach had gone completely around and was on the underneath side of the stop. And when I tried to start it, the tach registered down.
What the heck could have coused that? It wasn't like that the previous day.

My battery ran down overnight and i had to charge the battery. Could that have somehow caused the tach to do that?

Voltage surges will cause the Tach to go nuts. frown
