I can't believe people are still "upgrading" to slicers when there's a much better choice for almost as good a price to be had: the Gen3 SHO wheel.

Check it out on my '93.
All opinion Stevie boy. And one I am wholeheartedly disagreeing with!! Slicers are SOOO much better looking. Anyway, aftermarket is the way to go.

The only Gen3 wheel I would choose over slicers would be the wheels from the 99 SHOs. The 96-98 wheels are just too plain.

I had the 215-60s, went to 225-60 Yokohama AVSdb high performance tires and glad I did, look great, handle great dry or WET, good wear, speedo error insignificant - in fact, according to my GPS, I was off about 1 mph with the 215's and now my GPS says I am within 1/2 mph at all speeds over 10mph, so changing the size actually improved the accuracy!

why is everyone worrying about diameter so much without getting their speedo calibrated?
Mine was a mile off at best, and better than that with the slightly larger diameter, so it was a good idea to go a bit larger. I like the 60 profile, personally.
Speedos vary, some high (most common) some low, most vary over speed a bit.

225/60?? You're losing acceleration. Maybe a miniscule amount but one that will very nicely offset UDPs or a catback or MAF or chip....

You've improved the accuracy of a faulty speedo. Maybe it looks good as you stare at your gauges but it falsifies what your really doing.
