Are you sure your fuel injectors need replacing? Those hardly ever need it. My advice is to do what Adam Varney did. Save your pennies, and drive your sho down to Texas and have SDPATT make it new again.

sdpatt is Scott Patterson, he is unemployed, and would appreciate it if every sho owner parked their car in front of his house with $500 in the glovebox and the key in the ignition :D Naw, Scott lives in Texas, and he is great (so I've heard) at doing the 60k. Adam Varney from Iowa drove to texas to have the 60k done on his red 93 ATX.

Well it depends on how poor you are. First and formost you should get the valves adjusted. If you have $300 or so you might be able to find a shop to do it but make sure that they know the SHO. Otherwise order the shims and find someone to help you do it which wont cost you much.
SOme things you can do that wont be much is get fuel injector cleaner (you will notice a difference) and change the accessiory belts if need be. Also change the timing belt but I htink that requires taking off the intake.
Other things to do which may not be neccisarry are the thermostat, temperature sending unit, plugs and wires (use motorcraft).
SHOShop charges $299 plus a $400 core for the shims. This will tkae care of all plus it includes instructions. Though if you go this route you may be waiting a while. Above get the shims adjusted.

yo man. i would say take out the plug boots and see if there is any oil down in the well on top of the spark plugs. If you see oil then you will need the felpro gasket set. This costs 72 dollars from autozone. Then you need 6 motorcraft double platium plugs agsp32pp is the number for them. Then you need the motorcraft sparl plugs. All of this will drastically help out your SHO. If you don't have oil down in the wells then this will save u some money and you won't have to replace the gaskets yet. Definately buy those spark plugs and wires though. They help out A LOT. Also get the timing belt because that should have been done a long time ago. I believe it costs around 33 dollars for a new one. These couple of things will help your SHO. Check for leaks also and find the culprits of those. At your next oil change put in Castrol GTX. It is the best stuff to run in your car. Run the codes test to see if any sensors are bad. Go to www.shotimes.com and read on how to do the codes. Good luck with your SHO and treat it right. They will last you a long time with proper care.
