what sensor is this?

just had a hose blow on my 94 atx and its the about 4 inch long one that connects to the hot water tube that goes under the egr valve and up to the heater core. my problem is i got the tube out and there is a senor screwed into the water tube and i have no clue which one this is, i thought there were only two coolant sensors.

That is your CELO switch. Cold engine lock out switch. It keep you heater from blowing cold air at you untill the engine is warmed up.

where can you get it and will it cause your gage to run hot
