I am bleeding my brakes (too many triple digit quick stops :woo-hoo: ) and I am using the manual vac pump from Harbor Freight. It seems to hold plenty of vacuum but when I open the bleeder valve, all I get a 20:1 ratio of air:fluid. I then took the pump off and did the manual method (pumping the brake pedal) and I got zero air coming out of the valve. So now I am shopping for a good quality brake bleeder that I can depend on when I don't have any help.

So, what cha'll using to pump your fluid? :naughty:

Why don't you get a Motive pressure bleeder?

http://store.motiveproducts.com/sha...StoreType=BtoC&Count1=87734401&Count2=4874825

The Motive is a slightly pressurized bottle full of fresh brake fluid is connected to the master cylinder reservoir, then all you do is put a bleeder bottle on each caliper and open the bleeder fitting. No sucking, no pumping the pedal, no running back and forth between the front and rear of the car. Supremely easy...

Which pump is compatible with the Taurus SHO?

I also have a 98 GT Mustang that I would need this to fit. :salute:

It's either the Ford round two tab or three tab, I can't remember. Pop the cap off your MC reservoir and have a look.

Motive should be able to tell you which cap you need for your 98 GT.
