hey guys,
I've been lookin around trying to figure out the list of optional things that can come with the SHO ,
I'm buying my first SHO soon and this guy says his isfully equipped, he's mentioned in the ad it does not come with navigation.
and I've been learning more about the car everyday and asked about massage seats.
he said it doesn't come with that either.
so I'm trying to get a list of things his "fully equipped SHO" Might not have.
any suggestions ? maybe links to a thread I've missed
it is a 2016 SHO PP

If the PP is mechanically sound, that is more important than the other electronic doo dads. You're young you don't need butt massaging seats. Get a solid car. In fact, depending on your financial profile, this could be a great or terrible purchase. These are more complicated vehicles than most and can cost more to maintain.

That one is not fully equipped, it just happens that the basic equipment on this vehicle is already plenty. Edit, the 401A package does add a bunch of extras, but not all.

I remember the back then when I was a kid and if the car had AC, power steering, power windows and power door locks, it was "fully" equipped.

My first SHO with PP was absolute bare-bones. No Sony audio. No heated/cooled/massage seats. No heated steering wheel. No BLIS, no cross-traffic alert. No sunroof. I kind of resented that car. When I bought it, I didn't realize just how many options were missing.

I say if you're buying a SHO, get the SHO with all the options. Impress the ladies. Make your friends jealous. If all you wanted was the engine and no luxuries, you'd be shopping for a used Interceptor.

The fact they even make a SHO without these options is kind of deceptive, since 'SHO' implies the top-end trim level, when really it's almost like a different model with it's own sets of trim levels.

If the seller says 'fully equipped SHO' and it has no comfort features or navigation, then I assume 'fully equipped' just means 'no parts are missing'.

Navigation doesn't really have any value if you're getting a 2016, since they came with Sync 3, and Android Auto or Apple Car Play will still work.

I have a fully loaded SHO. On a PP you cannot get lane assist or the goofy cruise control.

Notice my car does not have Navigation. If you car has the compass, you have the ability to activate your Navigation. You will need Forscan and then you need updated Nav SD card. I activated mine.

I would guess my '13 non-PP is as "fully equipped" as you could get in 2012. Other than Performance Pack (which I didn't really care about) there hasn't been an option mentioned (for 2013) that my car does not have. Adaptive cruise, auto parallel parking, navigation, massaging seats, BLIS, rear windshield screen. There weren't that many option packages.

I still don't know why the engineers couldn't put adaptive cruise on a Performance Pack car. Just like I couldn't understand GM not putting adaptive cruise on the XLR-V. Mercedes fitted the SL55 and SL63 AMG cars with Distronic.

Sounds like deceptive advertising to me. "Fully equipped"? HaHa, right.

My SHO was non PP but seemed to have everything the PP had besides the heavy duty cooling, shatty lower gear, and the horrid alcantara wheel. I enjoyed the adaptive cruise control.

The suspension had same codes as PP and it had the better pads as well... Who knows why but maybe the parts bin was one big one?

I drive 25 miles one way to work it's almost all highway and this is my daily, after the big HP's and Torque's, adaptive cruise is my next favorite item in this car. I'm not sure I could ever own another car without it unless it was a straight up track car. Since I don't take this car on road tracks, I don't need the big cooling, I will just continue to change fluids like it's my job.

Yep, all of my Fox Body Mustangs didnt! LOL.

Don’t remind me. Hated that about those cars. Then I moved onto a 99 new edge cobra and was ecstatic about the cupholders only to realize that one worked and the others was designed with a cut out on the side and was utterly useless. The one that was closed could hold a can but anything taller and you take a turn to tight and there goes your drink. Then I moved into a couple of Terminators and thought to myself “it only took decades for ford to get a cup holder right”. Lol
